Yep, in the direct democratic simulated multiverse there is no privacy, too. But it's a frozen longe exposed 4D spacetime of absolute future, so no one cares, you forget about it and this way choose your next party to attend

although for many people iPhone is a status symbol, this is where you can shout -- "privacy, that's an iPhone."

-- ofc, both system have bugs in and out. sometime even zero day. but with android, it's data mining machine by design as google sees fit. for iOS, that's quite opposite. hence, unintended benefits for most obvious users.

This post got me inspired to make an app that does this analysis for you: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.studio64.appexaminer - it scans all apps you have installed, extracts the data and presents it in a user-friendly way (hopefully ;-)). Reach out @francesco-z.bsky.social for feedback or questions!

They probably also know the app usage metrics, total screen time, what we write in our notes app. Perhaps the book I plan to write is already drafted neatly.

Just read this killer article on the-ken. Super interesting stuff!

There was this comment on the-ken from some reverse engineer dude saying this problem's been around forever. He even shared some tricks to block the snooping! Had to check it out myself, but damn... turns out you need to unlock the bootloader and get superuser access. Way above my tech skills lol.

Probably not gonna try it myself - I'd probably brick my phone or something. Gotta respect those tech wizards though... like how do they even understand all that deep technical stuff? Makes my brain hurt just thinking about it!
